Massage Therapy can provide relief from postural stress, reduce muscle pain, provide relief from stress and anxiety, boast immune system and help you get a good nights sleep. Swedish massage employs long stroking techniques that gradually get deeper to re-align the muscle fibers. Stretching, craniosacral and myofascial techniques may also be integrated to help sustain and maintain positive effects created. Option of including Acupuncture for musculoskeletal condition available under the Massage Therapy scope of practice.

TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the foundational education and Regulated Acupuncture body in Ontario, Within its scope of practice we create a TCM diagnosis and treat the condition with Acupuncture, Acupressure, Tuina or Taiji Massage, Moxabustion, Cupping, Guasha, Blood letting , Qi Gong exercises, and Chinese Nutrition and Lifestyle advice . The Diagnosis may be based of the six levels of pathogens: Heat, Cold, Damp, Wind, Dryness or stasis or on the 5 element cycle- Wood (liver), Fire(heart), Earth (Spleen), Metal(Lung), or Water (kidney) along with Yin and Yang (excess and deficiency) I offer Japanese style and Balance Method based on 5 elements or 6 levels in the semi private setting.

6-Levels (TCM) or Balance Method
You do have your own room and privacy but I am working 2 rooms at a time. I will be with you for 20-30 minutes of the 45 min treatment and will be accessible at all time.
6 levels or Balance Method Acupuncture are done with the typical Filiform needles we are accustomed to associating with Acupuncture here in the west. The thin needles go in the body as you rest for approx 30-40 minutes. Balance method is five element diagnosis but Yin and Yang are addressed in the same session. 6 levels treatments strengthen an already relatively healthy body or can clear acute conditions like colds (not injuries or pain- that is 5 element or balance) . Additional components of the scope of practice may be included eg: cupping, moxa, Tuina massage or bloodletting but it not the focus.

JAPANESE ACUPUNCTURE
Japanese Acuuncture ( Master Seino style) which consists of using the round needle or Teishin. The round needle is one of the original 9 needles in Classical Chinese Acupuncture, I use primarily ones that are silver or gold plated, they contact with the skin and have a polarity charge to activate the Acupuncture point without peircing the skin. Torohari and Master Bear also use this technique and can sometimes also be referred to as Non- Insertion method or pain-free acupuncture. The system addresses the 5 elementsand Yin an Yang. Treatment plan is 3 treatments within a week and a half to stregthen, balance and bring awareness to the condition to then transform and release it. Bodywork, moxa, cupping or bloodletting may also be included with you consent.
